Usage: I am utilizing VMWareTasks to communicate with each VMWare Server 2.0 host, perform power operations on VMs, creating and deleting snapshots.

Milliman Care Guidelines -

VMWare ESX 3.5 (possibly vSphere 4.0/virtual center later)

Usage: I'm mostly using this because there is a bug in VMWare's vmrun.exe tool where you can't revert a snapshot on ESX. Very important for automated build testing.

ESXi 4.0 planning to use it for automated backups with no snapshots. Also to use it for possibly running scripts in case of power outages. nice tool, thank you very much!

Just wanted to update my previous post, to say the code has worked extremely well.

Since the system began in early Sept2009 the system supports 46 users and they have issued over 11k virtual machine commands with the system. That is approximately 50 actions a day.
